Happy International Bereaved Mother's Day.

First Sunday of May is observed as International Bereaved Mother's Day. Today we participate as Angel Mothers (Mothers who lost their little Angels).

Mother's Day is one of the hardest days to be part of because it's another reminder that out hands are empty, but it's a day observed for us to wear the cap with strength and pride because it doesn't matter how or when did we loose our babies. We are still Mothers and we are celebrated.

When I first discovered that we as Angel Mothers have a day to celebrate Or a day that I would like to see as a day of acknowledgement and existence, it gave a sense of relief and understanding because I was always confused on how to celebrate or enjoy Mother's Day with Mother's that see their children everyday, compared to me as an Angel mom.

Let's help our loved ones be part of these important days. Let's be part of the on going awareness and teaching to our loved ones and people close to us, to help them be part of these important days and celebrate with us.

May today be a special day that we will always hold close to our hearts. We celebrate our loss with strength, care, love and pride. 

Our hands may be empty but our hearts are full of love.
